What you are seeing on this gate are antique street graffiti tags by VENA FTR, EVER NVA, POET CWK 156, ZD, and GIGGLES, from the 1990s. Unfortunately, due to the current state of affairs around the world, this gate had to get rolled down for the first time in many years. As a result, however, all of the gems on this gate have been revealed for the first time in a long time. A classic VENA floater, EVER NVA with the headliner, a rare tag by POET 156, and tags by ZD, and GIGGLES.
Bronx flavor courtesy of TABE TFT. SINCE BTC, TOSKE BRT, and a classic tag by OG TABE TFT himself. New York is the greatest city in the world, in large part due to graffiti, especially from the 90s. Personally, I never made it up to the Bronx at all when I was a teen, but on my journeys throughout the city, I got accustomed to seeing tags by TABE.
Bringing it back to the classic subway train graffiti era of the 1980s with some hard body karate by the legendary SENTO TFP, along with a fill-in by TESK U5 and a very early version of a JA floater. Photographer unknown. This one just popped up on Facebook out of nowhere a short while ago, but I did also just now see another flick of this same car from a different angle. In that pic, there is a throw-up by CRO RIS on the far left.
Some solid chrome fills with black outlines by PSWAR ACID. Rocking the NC, TOK, and KHB crews. Classic styles from south Brooklyn NYC. Looks like it might be on canvas but I could be wrong. This brother does some great work which is always very nice to see. #NastyCrew #TheOriginalKings #KingsHighwayBoys #KingsHighwaymen #AnotherConeyIslandDemonstration#AlwaysChannelingInnerDemons#GraffitiNewYork
Another dope pic by King TABE TFT. Fresh styles by CENTS UTV, back in 1993. ID UGG with a tag up high. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again now. This was the best era of graffiti in NY. At least in my opinion. 😜#StreetGraffiti#TMR#CentsUTV
Taking it back to 1993 with this Bronx graffiti gem from the most legendary TABE TFT. Some nice colorful artwork by the homie GSTACK. Shout out to SWATCH TRM. Shout out to #TheVoodooTribe.
A skinny cap tag by the one and only DUNE FUK, a master of street graffiti since the 1980s, Representing the Fresh Underground Kings which originated in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Photo courtesy of @fan_of_graffiti_style. #streetgraffiti#dunefuk#fogs501
Tags by VEEFER and JOVES TDO on a Jersey barrier somewhere in the concrete jungle. Catching tags on anything and catching wreck. #StreetGraffiti#VFRWKS#JOVESTDO
