STREET GRAFFITI IN SUNSET PARK BROOKLYN: JBRO · BETE TBK · LMAC · VS · EW
Some street graffiti in Sunset Park, Brooklyn which I came across while taking my lady friend (now my wife) on her first tour of the neighborhood back in 2010. First and foremost, here we see a nice tag by JBRO SFT (RIP). The L. MAC and VS tags on the gate are maybe from 1991/92, followed up by the legendary BT TBK, who apparently passed through this block sometime in 1997. The TBK crew has a long history in this thing and there is also a chapter of the crew in the Bronx.
FRITZ
Caught this flick whilst cruising down 4th Ave one spring day back in 2010. Another decades-old FRITZ tag, this one on the top box of a pull down gate. FRITZ was a madman and had ups all over the place. If I understand the history correctly, the NAK mob sprang up initially around the Ninth Avenue train station in Brooklyn.
STREET GRAFFITI: FRITZ · VIN
While going through some flicks I had taken back in 2010, I came across this gem – – an FZ tag by FRITZ NAK, and a classic VIN tag. Early 90s graffiti which was faded but had been running for close to 20 years at the time this image was captured. This was on 44th & 5th, right across the street from Sunset Park.

ROACH RGN STREET GRAFFITI IN NEWARK NJ
Street graffiti spotted in Brick City, the 6th borough of NYC – – the city of Newark, New Jersey. Brother ROACH RGN from four deuce in #Sunset #Brooklyn has been going hard once again, this time in 2020. Putting in work since the very early 90s and still making history in the game of graffiti. Shout out to ROACH.
real GRAFFITI on the streets of ny: NETA MS ACC
The don, NETA ACC, blessing NYC with real street graffiti for over 30 years. MS ACC – – your name will always live on in Sunset, and beyond! We have GNS 777 INC ACC to thank for this image.
FZ STANDS FOR FRITZ NAK
Where I come from, “FZ” is short for FRITZ NAK, general of the legendary NAK mob from Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Here we see one of the many gems FRITZ left buried in the subway tunnels under the streets of New York. It’s always great when graffiti from ages past resurfaces suddenly, taking us back to when it was real in the field. This particular image was gifted to us by EURO AS and provides a superb real life example of subway graffiti in NY from the early 90s era.
